In the table above, we briefly introduce the adaptability of intermittent Multi-lane sachet stick packing machine and continuous Multi-lane sachet stick packing machine to these printer types. Next, each printer type will be introduced separately.

Ribbon Printing

Ribbon is a common printing consumable.
Its composition is very simple. It is a nylon ribbon woven from nylon yarn, soaked in ink and dyed.

From the earliest mechanical impact-type printers to later dot matrix printers, ribbons were used.
Its working principle is to use the dot matrix striker or the letter striker in the printer head to hit the ribbon to produce a printing effect on the printing surface.

In addition to the ribbon, ink is also important for the effect of ribbon printing.
Good ink particles have good fluidity of small particles and will not block pinholes, and uniform pH value.
The ink has strong adsorption when printing, easy to dry, not stick.
It is durable and has slow color transition during printing.

Bad ink particles are obviously large.
After printing, it is sticky, and not easy to dry.
It is easy to block the pinhole during printing, increase the resistance of the print head pressing needle, break the needle, and in severe cases, crush the driving chip, etc.

When choosing a replacement ribbon, please be carefully.

Anyway, clean it timely after use to prevent the ink from drying out and clogging the pinholes.

Hot Ink Roll Coder

There are two types, liquid ink roll printers and solid ink roll printers.

Both consumables are environmentally-friendly materials that do not produce toxic or harmful substances when used, and can meet the coding needs of pharmaceutical and food packaging.
Hot Ink Roll Coder

Ink Jet Printer

Simply speaking, the principle of this kind of printer is to heat the ink for a short period of time, vaporize and expand, and then the ink is printed.
The price of the machine is low, but the later use cost is high.

Advantage:
  • Inkjet printers are relatively cheap (especially low-end products), have fast speeds.
  • It is easy to add ink. Be sure to buy a printer with a separate structure for the nozzle and ink cartridge to avoid the disadvantage of replacing the nozzle together after the ink is used up.
Be careful:
  • For users who use it infrequently, the nozzle will become clogged if it is not used for a long time;
  • You must use original ink after the ink is exhausted. Using compatible ink is prone to problems and may even not be usable.

Thermal Transfer Printer

What is printer ribbon used for?
Thermal transfer printing refers to the printing that transfers the ink color of the ribbon to paper, film bags, and other materials through the process of combining heat and embossing.

This protects the printhead by preventing this direct contact.
The printing content will be transferred from the ink ribbon to a rubber layer and then to the smooth printing surface.

The heating of the ribbon backing heats through the ribbon carrier and causes the ink to adhere to the label surface resulting in the printed image.

Advantage:
  • Easy operation and low maintenance requirements.
  • Modular and compact design for space efficiency and portability.
  • Detachable letter block with high-quality bars and organic glass baffles.
  • Convenient letter and detail changes for flexible printing options.
  • Widely used for transparent plastic pouches, aluminum foil pouches, cotton t-shirts, and concave character packaging substrates.

Laser Printer-UV ink

The specific glue in UV ink will undergo a polymerization reaction and solidify under ultraviolet light.
It prints and dries immediately.

The printing content is clear with 3D effect. And QR codes can be printed.

The cost of the machine is relatively high.
This machine is used for premade bag packaging systems, to meet the requirements for clear and high-precision printing of a single bag, as well as specific printing positions on the bags.
